Corporate Profile: Marine Chemicals Division

The Marine Chemicals division of Agrocel started its activities in 1984 with export of Oxalic Acid and other chemicals to international market from Kandla (Gujarat) free trade zone.

In 1995-96 Agrocel Industries started manufacturing liquid Bromine at Dhardo in the Rann of Kutch where the important raw material – sea bittern – is available in plenty. The unit has been built painstakingly on 10,000 acres of land with the best indigenous, in-house technology available; and has the benefit of easily renewable and ample natural raw material supply. Besides, there are the tremendous site advantages of bright sunshine, high wind velocity, very little rainfall and a typical barren land. All these factors make this marine chemical activity of Agrocel a very successful enterprise.

Human Resources:

We conduct regular training sessions to for our employees and offer various services such as medical check ups and assistance, healthcare to employees, educational assistance to the children, subsidized food. We also conduct family get-togethers on various occasions.
